Nigeria: Rivers CP, Ogunsakin, Advises Banks On the Use of Policemen

Banks operating in Rivers State have been warned that rather than laying much emphasis on greater number of policemen deployed to guard the movement of cash, they should rather see the quality of equipment that is available to them as most necessary.

The state Commissioner for Police, Tunde Ogunsakin, who said this at the occasion of Bankers Forum held in Port Harcourt, the state capital on Tuesday, recalled the killing of two policemen by robbers at Igwuruta, the outskirt of the state capital, last week.
