United Nations Special Representative to Somalia Nicholas Kay on Tuesday (June 3rd) called for continued political, economic and security support for Somalia in a public address recognising the one-year anniversary of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Somalia (UNSOM).
"Somalia has made important political, economic and security progress in the last year but much more remains to be done, including the development of a federal system, reviewing the provisional constitution and preparing for elections in 2016," Kay said in a statement.
