When Human Rights lawyer Thulani Maseko took the stand at the high court yesterday, the prosecution and the presiding judge did not know that the 27 page document he opted to read from, would lay bare the real issues why Swaziland finds itself in a state of Executive, Judicial and Legislative rot.
It is almost impossible, especially for political activists, to adequately defend themselves without bringing into question the very Tinkhundla governing system that from 1973 has clamped down harshly on dissenters.
