Kenya: Dry Taps As Nairobi Water Repairs Pipes

WATER supply in several parts of Nairobi will be interrupted as the Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company conducts repairs.

In a statement yesterday, the company said there will be a scheduled shutdown of Gigiri Pumping Station between 6am today and 12pm tomorrow.

The areas to be affected include Lang'ata and its environs, Riverside, Kileleshwa, Kilimani, Karen, Lavington, Kangemi, Mountain View, Uthiru and Riruta.

Others areas are Satellite, Dagoretti Corner, Nyayo Highrise, Ngumo, parts of South C, Madaraka estate, Westlands, Parklands, Upper Hill, Kenyatta National Hospital and Chiromo.
