Eritrea: Southern Red Sea Region - PFDJ Head Indicates That National Development Drive Attests to People's Steadfastness and Soundness of Policies

Assab — The PFDJ head in the Southern Red Sea region, Mr. Adem Ali, indicated that the national development drive attests to the Eritrean people's steadfastness and soundness of government policies. He made the remark at a seminar he conducted with Administration heads and community representatives from Assab and Southern Denkalia sub-zone in the port city of Assab.

Mr. Adem indicated that the ongoing integrated programs involving communities and the Government are making significant impact regarding national development and improvement of societal livelihood. He further expressed conviction that anti-Eritrea agendas would end up in fiasco thanks to the people's growing awareness, and said that the Popular Front is exerting efforts towards nurturing national and cultural values among the young generation.

Also speaking at the meeting, Mr. Gergis Girmai, Administrator of the region, gave briefings as regards the popular resistance demonstrated against external conspiracies by the Eritrean people inside the country and abroad, and stated that the nation would shortly realize its bright future as the youth have put up relentless endeavors in the process of its development.

The participants expressed satisfaction with the seminar, and reiterated readiness to step up participation in the nation-building process.
