Kampala — The economy is growing but not at levels previously recorded in the 1990s and early 2000s.
While issuing the Monetary Policy Statement for June 2014 last week, Prof. Emmanuel Mutebile the Governor of Bank of Uganda said, "It is likely to take some time before the economy returns to the historical growth trajectory of 7%."
