Nigeria: Terrorism Has Destabilised the Society - Maina

The minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Zainab Maina, has stated that the objective of the prayer session organised by her ministry for the release of the Chibok girls was to galvanise support for peace and security

Speaking at the prayer session in Abuja recently, Maina said, "We want to sustain the momentum and continued support for the release of the innocent young girls kidnapped in Chibok, pray for all our men and women in uniform who toil daily and at times pay the ultimate price to ensure that peace reigns in our nation; to stimulate awareness of the need for all of us to make our contribution that will ensure that terrorism is brought to an end in our country and ensure that our president and government remain steadfast and not relent in the efforts to restore peace to every part of the country."
