Tunisia: I Will Decide Upon Standing for Presidential Election a Month Before

Tunis — Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki said, on Sunday, that he will decide upon the issue of standing for the presidential elections a month before the elections, according to the political situation in the country.

In an interview to the private TV channel "Attounissia," he pointed out that his current position as a President of the Republic does not give him an advantage over his competitors, adding that there is no legal or moral obstacle preventing him from standing for the elections.
