INFORM Hasmukh Mandalia overcame Rupesh Soni by straight forward 2-0 frames to progress to the third round of the Dar es Salaam Gymkhana Cargo Star Snooker tournament at the weekend.
The Upanga Club ace Mandalia maintained his fine form as he easily cruised to a 2-0 frames score-line in the Division B second round encounter, ending host Soni's dream of fighting for his first title this year. Soni, one of last year's monthly mug winners, has been struggling for form of late.
