Kenya: Counties Need More Money - Rutto

COUNCIL of governors chairman Isaac Rutto has urged Senators and MPs to increase revenue allocation to county governments from the current 15 per cent to 45 per cent.

This will enable counties to meet their financial obligations and implement development projects. Rutto said the national government is misleading Kenyans that it allocates 42 per cent of revenue to county governments.
