Nigeria: Northern Christians Mourn Ado Bayero's Death

Lagos — The Northern States Christian Elders Forum (NOSCEF) has joined other religious bodies in the country to mourn the death of Alhaji Ado Bayero, the former emir of Kano.

A statement jointly signed by the forum's chairman and National Secreatary, Elder Olaiya Phillips and Barr. Danjuma Subilim said in Lagos yesterday: "On behalf of NOSCEF and people of the faith across northern Nigeria, may I express our deepest condolences to the family of Alhaji Dr. Ado Abdullahi Bayero.
