THE Kisumu government has issued a warning to road contractors shoddily upgrading the county's roads.
Roads executive Vincent Kodera said he has received numerous complaints from the residents over substandard road gravelling across the county. Speaking on the phone yesterday, Kodera said most of the contractors are using substandard materials such as murram. He said some contractors have not built drainage systems and culverts as required by the county government.
