Nigeria: Only Lose Federation Will Solve Nigeria's Problems - Apga Chieftain

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and former Director General of Peter Obi campaign organization, Sylva Nwobu-Alor, has said that until Nigerians agree to a lose federation where each federating unit is allowed to develop at its own pace and according to its religion and beliefs, the problems bedevilling the country will continue.

Nwobu-Alor, a Second Republic legislator, spoke to Daily Independent in an interview in Awka. He said the National Conference now ongoing in Abuja is desirable, saying his worry is that the Conference "is not talking about issues that brought us together, but dwelt on abstracts, we don't talk about the basis for unity, the problem of one section against the rest or against the other.
