Nigeria: Bamidele Denies N3 Billion Ondo Loan to Ekiti LP

Ado-Ekiti — Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele, the Ekiti State governorship candidate on the platform of the Labour Party (LP), has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State of being behind series of malicious text messages aimed at maligning his person in recent days.

According to a statement signed in Ado Ekiti on Thursday by his Media Aide, Ahmed Salami, Bamidele said the latest text messages circulating within the South/West that he had gone to borrow about three billion naira from Ondo State Government for the purpose of this election was malicious.
