Nigeria: APC Demands Probe Into Police Violence in Ekiti

Abuja — THE opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) has asked the police to immediately investigate the violence allegedly unleashed by armed policemen on members of the party during a peaceful procession in Ado, Ekiti last Sunday.

In a statement issued in Abuja by its Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party also demanded that the killer of one of the peaceful marchers be identified and brought to justice.
