Somalia: Govt Starts Reconciliation Discussions in Mogadishu

The Somali Federal Government has began reconciliation talks in the capital city Mogadishu to allow rivaling clans that are fighting in Lower Shabelle region to sort out their differences through dialogue.

The Ministry of Interior & Federalism has today arranged individual meetings with different intellectuals, politicians and clan elders to reconcile their differences.

The government has commenced these talks in Mogadishu after a ministerial delegation reached Marka town in the Lower Shabelle region.
