Nigeria: Adamawa Peace Initiative Seeks End of Insurgency in Nigeria

Yola — An International Conference on Peace and Development, organized by the American University of Nigeria (AUN) and Adamawa Peace Initiative (API) has reiterated the need for the Federal Government and other stakeholders to take pragmatic steps to tackle security challenges threatening the nation.

The conference, which attracted participants from across the globe, observed that the security challenges could better be tackled, especially in the North-East, if there are cohesive efforts by the Federal Government and other stakeholders, rather than leaving it to the security agencies alone.
