South Africa: Cwusa Cautions Sabc in Its Stance to Terminate Ms Bonang Mathebe's Contracts

press release

The Creative Workers Union of South Africa (CWUSA) is disturbed by the media reports that seek to inform Ms Bonang Matheba of her unceremonious dismissal without giving her an opportunity to plead her case.

We caution SABC not to apply guerrilla tactics and terrorize Ms Mathebe but afford her an opportunity to plead her case.

As CWUSA we wish to express our discomfort with the manner this matter is treated and we object to the notion that SABC owns creative workers exclusively, as such exclusivity is not compensated for.
