Liberia: Two Chinese Nationals Jailed for Assault On Female Employee in Liberia

Monrovia — Two Chinese nationals working for the PS Pensheng Sand Plant Corporation located in the Battery Factory Community in Gardnersville, have been ordered detained by the Monrovia City Court at the Temple of Justice on charges of simple assault pending prosecution following court appearance.

The two Chinese identified as Yang Anbao and Wang Fang Yi males were seen Thursday afternoon handcuffed and escorted by court officers to the Monrovia Central Prison, following a complaint filed by a female employee of the sand mining company for assault allegedly meted against her by the two Chinese.
