Nigeria: Jonathan Appoints Bode George's Wife NDLEA Boss

Abuja — President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed Roli Bode-George as the Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

She takes over from Olufemi Ajayi, who is now the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).

Presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati, who announced the appointment on his twitter handle on Thursday, said it was with immediate effect.

The new NDLEA boss is wife of former National Deputy Chairman (South) of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and ex-Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Bode George.
