Angola Presents Strategy On Mining Sector in London

Luanda — Angola will present the Government's strategy for the mining sector at the summit "Mining on Top", taking place on 24-26 June in London, England, reads a communiqué from the Ministry of Geology and Mines that ANGOP got access today.

The source said that the presentation will be chaired by the Minister Francisco Queiroz, and will focus on discussion of public management of the mining resources, public infrastructure to support the National Plan of Geology, business opportunities and actual results.

In London, the Minister of Geology and Mining, Francisco Queiroz, will also participate in a roundtable organized by the center for the study of international affairs Chatham House, where he will speak on "The Evolution of Angola's Mining Sector: Reform and Investment."

To participate in the Mining on Top 2014 were invited representatives from DR Congo, Mali, Namibia, Mozambique, Ghana, Lesotho, Tanzania and Uganda.
