MINYA - Reda Ramadan didn't get a chance to celebrate the acquital of his nephew after he learned his brother was among 183 defendants whose death sentences were confirmed in Egypt on Saturday.
"Our family is devastated. The acquittal means nothing when there is a death sentence" at the same time, a grieving Ramadan told AFP as he left the courtroom.
