Uganda: New Play Digs Into the Now and Then of Uganda Police

With all the times they've faced off with citizens, you understand the public skewed image: teargas, bullets and buttons hurled, that they have of the institution.

Yet when the Uganda Police Force (UPF) freely invited the same public to party and enjoy a drama performance at National theatre last Wednesday, no one wanted to be left out. The show was slated to start at 7pm, but thirty minutes before the time, the theatre couldn't accommodate any more people -as both the gallery and auditorium were fully packed.
