Nigeria: Group Wants 'Crisisology' in Schools' Curriculum

An expert group in crisis management is pushing to have school regulators include a new social science discipline-crisisology-in school curriculum in efforts to help the country prevent and manage crisis.

The Society for Safety and Crisis Management (SSCM) targets groups as Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council, National Universities Commission, National Commission for Colleges of Education and National Board for Technical Education to support "recognition and further research" into crisisology.
