Nigeria: Bayelsa Disburses N450 Million to Scholarship Students in UK

Yenagoa — Bayelsa State government disclosed at the weekend that it had disbursed £1million (N250million) and another tranche of N200million to the state scholarship board for onward transmission to scholars on its scholarship studying in the United Kingdom.

A statement by Governor Seriake Dickson's Chief Press Secretary,Daniel Iworiso-Markson, said the disbursement was in fulfilment of the governor's pledge to the students during his interaction with them in London penultimate week.
