A Sudanese woman freed from death row has been arrested with her family at Khartoum airport, the BBC has reported.

The official Sudan News Agency had reported that an appeal court in Khartoum cancelled Meriam Ibrahim's death sentence for apostasy.

The BBC report went on to say that about 40 security agents detained Ibrahim - along with her husband, Daniel Wani, who has U.S. citizenship, and two children - at the airport.
