Kenya: Al Shabaab Make Billions From Poaching and Illegal Charcoal Trade

Al shabaab make billions of shillings from poaching and illegal trade in charcoal. A report by UNEP and Interpol shows that the militia group in East and Central Africa receive 5.4 billion shillings annually from the trades. UNEP boss Achim Steiner says this is the money the terror group uses to conduct their criminal activities.
