Masvingo — ZIMBABWE's urban councils are reeling on the brink of collapse amid the country's economic hardships, a former President of the Urban Councils Association of Zimbabwe (UCAZ) said.
Femias Chakabuda, the former mayor for Masvingo, a city in the southern parts of the country told CAJ News that most of the country's major urban areas would soon become “dormitory towns” without money to provide services to residents if the country's economic problems were not urgently solved.
