Nigeria: Court Discharges Driver, 35, of Manslaughter Charge

A Surulere Chief Magistrates' Court in Lagos on Wednesday discharged a 35-year-old driver, Richard Ikeena, who faced a two-count charge of dangerous driving and causing death, before it.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that his discharge was based on a report from the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) that there were insufficient facts to establish aprima facie case of dangerous and reckless driving against him.
