Tanzania: State Asks Drug Shops to Open in Rural Areas

Dodoma — DEALERS in medicines have been asked to open small drug shops also know as Accredited Drug Dispensing Outlets (ADDO) in rural areas instead of concentrating in major towns and cities.

The Deputy Minister for Health and Social Welfare, Dr Kebwe Steven Kebwe, told the National Assembly that the outlets are congested in urban areas and the government wants dealers to shift focus to rural areas.
