Eritrea: Inhabitants of Adi-Bari Administrative Area Extend Financial Support to Families of Martyrs

Mendefera — The inhabitants of Adi-Bari Administrative area, Mendefera sub-zone, have extended financial support to a total of 36 families of martyrs.

Mr. Tekeste Mihreteab one of the coordinators of the initiative, said that the support attests to the culture of collaboration in Eritrea and the commitment of honoring the Trust of Martyrs on the part of community members. He also voiced the inhabitants' readiness to sustain input in this regard.

The families of the beneficiaries expressed satisfaction with the support being extended to them on the part of the government and the people.

Ms. Tigist Elias, the Area Administrator, stated that the initiative demonstrates the deep respect of citizens to the martyrs, and that such initiative would continue in a highly organized manner.
