Angola: Emcica Group Unveils New Boats

Cabinda — Two cargo boats made in Switzerland and America named Luango II and Merlim II were unveiled on Friday in this city for the members of the northern Cabinda Province government, entrepreneurs, port authorities, civil society and the and press.

Estimated at USD 5 million, the boats belong to Ibembe maritme Transport Limited and EMCICA group, both will operate in Angolan coast mainly in the provinces of Cabinda, Zaire (Soyo), Luanda, Benguela, Lobito and Namibe.

Cabinda governor, Aldina da Lomba Catembo, praised EMCICA group for the initiative, since it will contribute to maritime transport of cargo to other parts of the country.
