Tunisia: Renewable Energy Would Provide 29.3 Billion Dinars From Cost of Energy Production (2014-2030)

Tunis, — "29.3 billion dinars from the cost of energy production in Tunisia could be mobilised if the renewable energy plan is implemented in the period 2014-2030," said energy expert and President of the University Network of Renewable Energy Mouldi Miled.

Speaking at a seminar held on Saturday by the Temimi Foundation for Scientific Research and Information on "Energy Transition in Tunisia: Opportunities and Challenges," the expert said the Tunisian solar plan could save about 14 billion dinars, an amount set to go to subsidy in the period 2014-2030.
