Eritrea: Higher Community Awareness and Active Popular Participation in National Development Programs Are Prerequisites, Say Department Heads in Southern Region

Segeneiti — Departments heads in the Southern region said that higher community awareness and active popular participation are prerequisites in the realization of national development programs.

They made the remark at respective meetings with the inhabitants of Segeneiti, Dekemhare, Tsorona, Mai-Mine and Areza sub-zones, during which they further indicated that thanks to the endeavors being made by the people and the Government, encouraging achievements are being registered in the nation-building process. They also called on the community members to demonstrate due contribution towards realization of the cherished national development goals.
