Kenya: Bungoma Teachers Lease Out Prime Hotel

The Tourist Hotel owned by Bungoma teachers has been leased out.

Bungoma Teachers Housing and Investment Cooperative Society signed the lease with Bonito company on Friday. The company will invest Sh106 million to refurbish the hotel. For 20 year, Bonito will pay Sh815,000 monthly as rent to the teachers' sacco. Sh400,000 will be deducted to recover the capital investment while the balance will be saved in the sacco.
