Africa Urged to Invest in Agriculture

Malabo — EQUATORIAL Guinea president, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, has urged African countries to invest on food security in order to become self-reliant.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the African Union (AU) in his country, Mbasogo called upon the countries to channel more funds to agriculture invest so as to reduce dependence on food donations from developed countries and enhance the fight against hunger and disease.
