Liberia: Effective July 1, 2014, Executive Pavilion Reserved for Government Functions Only

The Executive Mansion has announced that effective Tuesday, July 1, 2014 the management of the Executive Pavilion has been turned over to the General Services Agency (GSA).

According to an Executive Mansion release, the GSA has been mandated to ensure its maintenance and managed purely for government functions.

An earlier release issued on Tuesday, February 4, stated that the facility will be reserved strictly for government functions; but there were people who, through the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs, had earlier met requirements for the usage of the building.

This release is to inform the public that the Executive Pavilion will no longer be rented out for private functions.
