Kenya inched closer in on next year's Rugby World Cup in England with a 34-0 demolition of Madagascar at the Mahasimana Stadium in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
This was Kenya first win over the Indian Ocean Islanders in four attempts in an encounter that was punctuated with bad tempered especially in the second half. The side known a the Tusker Simbas started strongly and scored barely four minutes into the game after Nondies lock Ronnie Mwenesi scored from rolling maul to silence the noisy and partisan crowd. Fly half Kenny Andola missed the conversion for a 5-0 lead.
