Gambia: 25-Year-Old Man in Need of Overseas Medical Treatment

One Cherno Jallow, a 25-year-old man and a resident of Brikama is in urgent need of assistance to undergo overseas medical treatment.

According to a medical report obtained from the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in Banjul, the patient was involved in an RTA on 12th March 2014 while riding on a motorbike and collided with a truck. He was presented at the ER with frontal laceration swollen left thigh and coma. The medical report also reviewed that CT scans done on him had shown a massive frontal contusion and non-displaced fractures of the vertebral bodies of the c3 - c4. The patient has benefited from ICU management, physiotherapy, intramedullary kouseher nail and is now in the rehabilitation phase.
