YOUTHS aged between 18 and 24 support abortion, an opinion poll released yesterday by Ipsos and the Kenya Christian Professional Forum has revealed. Those in urban areas support it by 10 percent and the rural ones by 11.
"It is not surprising that the 18 to 24-year-olds support abortion on demand. This age group is the most vulnerable and unprepared to be parents. We should put in place strategies that will educate and inform behaviour change to protect them," says Jean Kagia, who is an obstetric gynecologist.
