Liberia: LACC Probes Neyor's Revelation, Cases Up for Prosecution

Monrovia — Corruption Commission says it will invite the former head of the National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL) Christopher Neyor in an attempt to probe allegations contained in his open letter to President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

"We managed to follow the publication attributed to Chris Neyor and as we speak just as we did with the NOCAL case Mr. Clemenceau Urey appearing before the Legislature said they had to engage in bribery in A B C and D, Neyor in his publication made some allegations, Christopher Neyor is suppose to appear, we got the information that he is not in the country but a communication has been sent to him to come and give explanation on some of those issues of five million dollars and I said in my statement, if misconduct is detected we'll follow the trail if it leads to individual then it leads to individual, if it leads to animal it leads to animal but whoever it leads to, we will follow you and that what we're going to do if he's in town he's going to come and I learn that he has travel but a letter has been written to him already", said LACC Chairman James Verdier.
