The high court in Banjul presided over by Justice Mikailu Abdulahi, Thursday delivered a ruling in the case of the state against Mamburay Njie the former minister of Finance in which he was acquitted and discharged.
The ex-minister Njie arraigned before the said court on the 4th of May 2014 pleaded not guilty to all the two counts of economic crime and neglect of official duty, which led the prosecution to call two witnesses and tendered several documents in an effort to prove a case against him.
