SUNDAY Mail editor Edmund kudzayi left remand prison Friday after he was granted US$5,200 bail by the High Court.

In brief remarks to journalists as he left Harare Magistrates Courts after two weeks in gaol, Kudzayi vowed he would fight to clear his name.

"Freedom is a beautiful thing. I am feeling okay and ready to fight," he said.

Authorities claim that Edmund, 28, and his brother Philip, 29, were behind the Baba Jukwa Facebook page - the cause of huge irritation for the ruling Zanu PF party and its leaders ahead of last year's elections.

The allegations have seen the Kudzayi brothers face terrorism-related charges which include attempting to subvert a constitutionally-elected government and undermining the President's authority.

High Court judge, Justice Joseph Musakwa, granted Edmund bail on Thursday with tough conditions which include reporting twice daily at Harare Central Police Station and surrendering his passport.

He was also ordered to hand over the title deeds to his parents' Harare home.

The brothers deny the charges.
