Kenya: NLC Vice Chair Admits Error
By Brian Otieno
The National Land Commission yesterday admitted it may have made a mistake in its May appointments to the taskforce to look into historical land injustices in the country. NLC vice chair Abigael Mukolwe said the commission is made up of humans who are prone to error.
Civil societies in Mombasa, under the umbrella of Coast Land Non State Actors, on Thursday protested the inclusion of former Msambweni MP Kasim Mwamzandi and former Mt Elgon MP Wilberforce Kisiero saying they are not fit to be in the taskforce.
