Nigeria: Traders Protest in Adamawa Over Directive to Relocate Shops

Tensions hit Mubi Local Government headquarters of Adamawa State on Monday over the directive by the Nigeria Army in Mubi ordering all owners of kiosks, meat sellers, tea sellers and other businesses along major roads in the commercial border town to relocate.

The directive resulted to a mass protest by the affected traders as they took to the streets of Mubi town protesting against the decision.
