Sudan: Darfur School Students in Eastern Chad Sit for Exams

Eastern Chad — On Monday, 4,276 Darfuri basic school students in the eastern Chad refugee camps, started with their final exams. Mohamed El Makki Abdallah Musharaf, basic school teacher at Gaga refugee camp, recounted to Radio Dabanga that the final exams for eighth grade refugee students in eastern Chad started on Monday.

"The exams meet the Sudanese curriculum. They take place under the supervision of the Ministry of Education in Khartoum State, in coordination with the UN High Commissioner for refugees (UNHCR). A delegation of the Ministry, who brought the exams, is also supervising the process."
