As he bids to win a third national rally title, Ronald Ssebuguzi and co-driver Cedric Buzabo easily won the Southern Motor Club (SMC) rally over the weekend to stretch their NRC championship lead to 143 points, writes Elly Kyeyune.
Finishing 12 minutes ahead of nearest rival Wilbert Polepole, it was clear Ssebuguzi was racing against himself. To begin with, Jonas Kansiime, his nearest challenger, had his race end prematurely due to a gearbox problem after just three sections.
