Nigeria: 2015 - Women Journalists Tasked On Rural Women Sensitisation

Ahead of the 2015 General Elections the Democratic Governance for Development (DGD) of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has tasked the Nigerian Association of Women Journalist (NAWOJ) to prioritise enlightening rural women on voter education.

Project Director of the organisation, Dr. Mourtada Deme, made the call yesterday in Abuja at the opening of a five-day workshop on Media and Election for women journalists.
