Tunisia: NCA Commissions Fail to Clearly Define Terrorist Crimes, Penalties and Terrorist Profile

Bardo, — A meeting of the general legislation and rights, freedoms and external relations commissions on the counter-terrorism draft law held on Tuesday failed to end up with a clear and precise definition of terrorist crimes and penalties and to establish and draw the profile of a "terrorist."

President of the rights and freedoms commission Souad Abderrahim said this problem is explained by the countless definitions given to terrorist crime which makes it difficult to determine it accurately.
