Nigeria: Rescue of Chibok Girls Imminent, Says Council of State

Abuja — The Council of State on Tuesday promised Nigerians heart warming news concerning the abducted schoolgirls of Chibok after it was comprehensively briefed by President Jonathan and the National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki, on the imminent rescue of the girls.

Rising from its meeting which was presided over by Jonathan at the Presidential Villa, the Council of State also advised the media to be sensitive and less sensational in reportage of insurgency in the country so as not to be perceived as celebrating terrorism.
